Total War: Troy
Total War: Troy is a turn based strategy game that is set in the Bronze Age when the Greeks and Trojans were at war with each other, inspired by Homer's Iliad of the Trojan War. Total War: Troy boasts warriors such as Achilles, Hector, Menelaus, Paris, Agamemnon, Sarpedon, Odysseus and Aeneas.

Total War Troy also uses mythological creatures within their game however these creatures are represented in a humanoid form. A great example of this is the minotaur character.
Minotaur
The features of a minotaur can be noticed by the player with the use of the fur/pelt armour along the arms, back and legs of the character. The legs are shaped and dressed like hooves and the main feature that draws the players focus is the bull skull mask. I believe the choice of weapon for this character implies the strength of the minotaur.
Cyclops
The cyclops is another mythological creature that is used in Total War: Troy. The main feature of a cyclops is its singular eye. The Total War: Troy developers seemed to have used an elephant skull design to depict a single eye socket for the cyclops character representation. Aside from the size of a cyclops, the single eye is the only main way of identifying a cyclops and it appears the developers may agree with this statement because the rest of the character is very basic with minimal clothing and accessories.
Playable Factions
When playing the base game of Total War: Troy there will be 8 factions to play as. These factions are Dardania, Ithaca, Lycia, Mycenae, Phthia, Sparta, Hector's Trojans and Paris' Trojans. The latest DLC for this game added the Amazon warriors. The Amazons are split into 2 factions, Hippolyta's Amazons and Penthesilea's Amazons.
